How to prevent heat stroke ?
The heat stroke or heatstroke leads to a state of gravity that should be treated immediately and professionally, that can reach the fatality, were to an imbalance of systems of thermal regulation of the agency, where the temperature rises unreasonably.
The climate is basically the responsible both direct and indirect, to this condition which manifests itself in different levels of gravity, according to the individual case, but more than common when performing activities outdoors in summer.
That is why acclimatized to the conditions of the season warm should be done in a gradual manner, being the dehydration one of the reasons that stimulate the condition, bearing in mind that it should be avoided, because when the thirst manifests, we are already dehydrated.
Tips:
* Do not make vigorous exercise during the hours more hot day, looking for example the hours closer to the departure of the sun or the placing of the same.
* Wear loose clothing for example of cotton, to allow sweat can evaporate, or other tissues not synthetic.
* Use sunscreen whose facto is going to depends on the professional advice to avoid sunburn, since these may hamper the ability of the skin for chilled aggravating the status of health.
* Use a hat that provides shade and allows the ventilation.
* Drink plenty of fluids, such as water or sports drink every 15 minutes (16-20 drink oz / hour).
* In carrying out activities if it believes that its capacity starts to decline, stop the activity and try to cool.
* Do not drink alcohol or beverages containing caffeine before exercise, because they increase the rate of dehydration.
Remember, it is easier to prevent the disease by the heat to treat once symptoms develop.
