The University of California has yielded important information regarding this fact, since a survey conducted by scientists from this institution has thrown the conclusion that children who watch many hours of TV have great potential to develop hypertension. Specifically speaking, children who watch television four or more hours per day are three times more likely to have high tension that those who look TV two hours a day or less.<br />
This study envisaged a sample of 546 obese children of between four and seven years of age. To these children are measured its Body Mass Index and they were measured their voltage levels while studying, and they were asked to their parents who entered many hours of television watching these children per day.<span id="more-859"></span><br />
The results were quite revealing, since the likely to have hypertension and hours glances of television were directly proportional among children of the sample. The children who looked between two and four hours a day of television had 2.5 likely more than getting hypertension that those who watched less than two hours, and the likelihood grew up 3.3% if they saw more than four hours a day.<br />
