Anti Ageing Products: Say NO to Those Ugly Wrinkles
I can’t say I am ageing gracefully. A few wrinkles here and there would have been quite the requirement of my age (it brings some dignity), but of late I am finding that the skin surface over my feet, hand and darn! My face, have been exceptionally vulnerable to wrinkles and tissue-softening of other kinds. There is a definite sagging beneath the eye and even the neckline that I was so proud of is showing signs of approaching age. It is not the best of times, I must say. A lady’s vanity lies in the yards between her head and neck and I am thoroughly confused and agitated with what I have to offer to the world.
However I am hopeful. Each day I hear something brilliant coming up the anti-ageing radar. There are products and surgeries and diets and facial exercise regimens, there are spas and beauty treatment and then there is water; the great panacea! Anti aging skincare products now come with many claims – prevent ageing skin, reduce sagging skin, lighten age spots, and many more.
Methods like chemical peeling and microderm abrasion are stupefying. Well! They yield result I hear, not without nothing is the operating companies showing greater profit each quarter. And why should they not. They use perhaps the most avant garde method to date. Its laser, what else! Bombarding the facial tissues within the optimal levels by laser helps in hardening the tissues and discarding the patches, black spots and wrinkles. Chemical peeling allows the pores of the skin to open and absorb the facial maladies.
And yes, the market is full of Anti ageing creams. These aim to lighten the wrinkles too. A few contain Aloe Vera and a few others have a proprietary blend of age-impacting creams. Degree of anti-oxidants might vary but they are invariably there. Today, the Reservatol food supplements are running rings around the market. Dermacai is another product I hear doing well. In fact exceedingly well is the buzzword.
The product is being highlighted by Oprah Winfrey in her talk show and the recommendations of Dr. Oz give me a lot of satisfaction. The product is a mix of proprietary blends added to the gifts of the Amazonian fruit called Acai. The fruit pulp has amazing health potential, be it in form of extracts or juices or various supplements. While these are all handy methods and give me hope, I keep sticking to my regimen of salads, water and herbs. These have a cumulative effect I have come to know, and with some devotion, they would bail me out of the crisis.
Now its time to choose one of the methods I have discussed above. Till we meet next over some other blog.
