Less Sugar Everyday
A little sugar each day, in the coffee, in a cake or in a biscuit do poorly on anyone. This is a source of glucose that is the fuel of the body, but it is not the only.
Among the coffee, tea, a soda, some pills, the yogurt with fruit and chewing gum, you can get to accumulate a lot of spoonfuls of sugar per day without realizing. It is estimated that the average person consumes 61.3 kilos of sugar per year, or more or less, about 300-600 calories per day.
According to the size of your body and the calories you spend, you could take between 6 and 15 teaspoons of sugar per day. If you train in gym, or you have a life quite agitated between work and studies, you can reach up to 18 teaspoons per day, and nothing happens. But if you do not train, you are women or doing a life relatively sedentary, not should you switch of the 6-8 teaspoons daily.
The problem with the sugar is appearing in places that neither we imagined. Example: Innocent cans of soda can add some 9.8 teaspoons of sugar to your diet; a fruit juice can add up to 12 teaspoons of sugar more.
